Client Case Study Carole Ann Penney - When I Grow Up Um, do you know that Ive coached hundreds of women since I started offering dream career guidance in 2008? And that these women are freakin rock stars, leaving soul-sucking jobs and traveling the world and launching creative, grown-up businesses and simply doing work that fits their lifestyle goals? Well ya do now and youll hear their stories firsthand in my  Client Case Studies series!  Last week, we celebrated 6 businesses that went from zero to launch in just 90 days! They were all part of the summer session of  90 Day Business Launch, and Carole Ann was such a standout to us. She came to us with the semblance of a business, but she knew that what was there didnt represent her and what she wanted to convey to her prospective clients. Shes killed it since getting her personalized launch plan back in July (baby,  look at her now!), and has such wise words to share! Why did you decide to sign up for 90 Day Business Launch?  What were you doing work-wise when you started this program? I learned about 90 day Business Launch when I had just left my full-time job of seven years. After keeping my side hustle on the side for five years, I realized that I was never going to make my business work if I was giving it only the leftover energy that was almost never there by the end of a long day of work and motherhood, and I was never going to make it work while I didnt have to (side hustle income was bonus mad money for me). I knew I needed to go all-in, and I knew there were a lot of things that needed to happen to launch. I didnt know where to start! When I saw the offering for 90 Business Launch with you and Laura, I knew that was the way for me to truly take my business launch seriously, get a roadmap for making it happen, and get a head start by benefiting from your incredible wisdom and experience. What was your biggest takeaway from 90 Day Business Launch? You and Laura taught us from the beginning to prioritize you helped us to invest our energy where it would matter most, even when things like logos and photos tempted our attention. My biggest takeaway is that I dont just know that I shouldnt be too precious or obsessed with perfectionIm practicing it. Thats going to help my business not just launch on time, but develop and evolve over time.   What would you tell someone now that was in your shoes 4 months ago? What’s your best tip to allow them to make a grown-up living with a business they love? Set a launch date and create some kind of community, even if its just one friend, so that you can be held accountable to moving the process forward step by step.
